The Newborn Rock 'n Play Sleeper is a nighttime sleeper and playtime seat all in one!  And it's the only infant seat that meets industry safety standards for bassinets.  So besides using it as a perfect place for baby to rock (with a gentle push from you!) and play during the day, you can also use it as a place for baby to sleep at night.  It has an inclined seat, which makes sleeping more comfortable for babies who need their head elevated.  Other features include three-point restraint to keep baby secure, a toy bunny for soothing and entertaining, and a washable insert for comfort and support.  Plus it's very lightweight, so it's easy to move around the house.

I am promoting this product, even though I have never used it.  But I do have a lot of faith in Fisher Price Products and I have done a lot of research on this product.  It has great reviews!  I wish I had known about it with my last baby.  It does everything that you need!  There are so many of the baby products that are so big and bulky.  Then add a baby to the mix and it can be very difficult just to get around easily.  So I am all about making life for a new mom easier!

As mentioned above, this product does recline comfortably for the baby.  This can help for babies with Acid Reflux issues.  All babies have Acid Reflux to some degree; thus the spitting up.  But for some, it bothers them more than others.  And some even require medication (like 2 of mine).  The doctors will specifically tell you to elevate their bed, if this is the case.  So with this product, you already have that.  And it also helps to have that incline if your baby has a cold or stuffy nose.  And of course, the "back to sleep" position is what is recommended for infants as well.

Most babies also like to be swaddled or feel as if they are being cradled.  Newborns have very jerky movements due to their central nervous system not being fully developed at birth.  So they like the feel of being held.  Just think....your baby has been in very close quarters for nine months, so this sleeper also caters to that need.

The versatility of this product is just endless.  It would make a great addition to your own baby collection; or even a great gift!
