Things to try:
- Be sure to not neglect proper care of your teeth and gums, even though discomfort may tempt you to ignore regular brushing and flossing.
- Be sure to use an antiseptic mouthwash. My personal favorite is Listerine. This will help reduce the chance for infection and other gum disease.
- Getting your teeth professionally cleaned may also help. Just be sure to let your Dentist know that you are pregnant, although most routine procedures are safe while you are pregnant.
- Try getting some Vitamin C into your regular diet. Vitamin C also helps tooth and gum tissues to be stronger.
